Europharm, Hycells Biotechnology, and Beike Pharmaceutical Have Entered into a Strategic Partnership in the Field of RCL Testing

In July 2024, Europharm Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Europharm”), Shanghai Hycells Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Hycells Bio”), and Beike (Beijing) Pharmaceutical Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Beike Pharma”) entered into a strategic cooperation agreement. The three parties jointly announced that they will engage in in-depth collaboration in areas such as biosafety testing involving P3 laboratories—including replicable lentivirus (RCL) assays and mycobacterial verification—for CGT products, as well as immunogenicity studies for peptide products. Leveraging their respective strengths and expertise in biopharmaceutical testing, the three parties will work together to provide end-to-end, one-stop services to biopharmaceutical clients, thereby achieving mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.

On June 28, 2024, the website of the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) under the National Medical Products Administration announced that the Investigational New Drug (IND) application for U87 Injection, an innovative drug independently developed by Shanghai Youcardi, has officially been granted tacit approval (Acceptance Number: CXSL2400222), with Trop2-positive advanced malignant tumors as its intended indication.
