Mobilize Leukopak Collection Services
In healthy individuals, hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells account for approximately 1% of nucleated cells in peripheral blood. Following effective mobilization, hematopoietic stem cells from the bone marrow are released into the peripheral circulation, leading to a marked increase in the proportion of these cells in peripheral blood. Mobilized peripheral blood refers to the blood collected after a donor has been effectively mobilized with a suitable mobilizing agent. Recombinant human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (rhG-CSF) is the most commonly used mobilizing agent; it selectively targets granulocytic hematopoietic progenitor cells, promoting their proliferation and differentiation while also increasing both the number and functional activity of neutrophils in peripheral blood.
CBMC Isolation and Preparation Services
Cord blood mononuclear cells (CBMCs) are isolated from the placental and umbilical cord tissues of healthy newborns. They are nucleated cells present in umbilical cord blood and represent the largest cell population in the human body, comprising lymphocytes and monocytes. These cells constitute an essential component of the immune defense system, exerting protective and eliminative functions against invading pathogenic microorganisms through phagocytosis and antibody production.
Natural killer cells (NK cells) are the third major class of lymphocytes, alongside T cells and B cells. They are involved not only in antitumor immunity, antiviral defense, and immune regulation, but also in the pathogenesis of hypersensitivity reactions and autoimmune diseases.
Cynomolgus macaque peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), owing to their high degree of similarity to the human immune system, have become an essential tool in drug development, immunotherapy, vaccine research, and other fields, particularly playing an irreplaceable role in preclinical studies of gene therapy and cell therapy.
In mice and rats, PBMCs are a crucial sample for studying immune responses due to their ease of collection and ability to reflect the host’s immune status. PBMCs from both species serve as a core tool in immunological research, with broad applications in elucidating disease mechanisms, drug development, and fundamental immunological studies. Standardized isolation and analytical protocols enable the efficient acquisition of highly active cells, providing reliable data for experimental investigations. Compared with tissue samples, mouse and rat PBMCs, being obtained non-invasively, preserve multiple immune cell subsets, making them well suited for multiparameter analysis.
