On January 26, 2024, the 2023 year-end summary meeting of Hycells Biotechnology was held as scheduled near Lujiazui in Pudong.

In 2023, the industry as a whole faced widespread challenges, and our company’s core business experienced a severe downturn. Despite these headwinds, Hycells has nonetheless broken through the status quo by continuously innovating its technology platform and overcoming one obstacle after another. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every team member for their tireless efforts and dedication—your agile responsiveness and highly efficient execution have enabled us to rise to one new challenge after another. We are also deeply thankful to both new and longstanding customers for their unwavering support and partnership throughout our journey.

Through diligent and unremitting efforts, we have reaped the rewards as expected. The steady progress of every individual at Hycells would not have been possible without the unwavering support of each and every team member. Over the past year, the company has also seen the emergence of one outstanding colleague after another. In recognition of their exceptional performance, Hycells honored these individuals across various departments and presented them with cash awards.

Who shines the brightest?

This year’s company annual gala was themed “Who Shines the Brightest?” With everyone pitching in and pooling their ideas, the atmosphere reached a thrilling climax.

The Marketing Department each received a gleaming spear or sword, along with a mask exuding icy, unyielding coolness. The Technology Department went all out by inviting heavyweight guests—the God of Wealth and the charming “Northeast Little Floral Coats”—to deliver heartwarming song-and-dance performances. Meanwhile, the Clinical Department rallied the entire team and their families to put on a lively and entertaining little-person dance. As for the Operations Department, it turned the stage into a runway show for Arabia’s richest tycoons, with dazzling golden ingots being generously tossed into the audience—so many that they literally blinded everyone present!

It’s truly hard to say who is the brightest star—every single one is equally dazzling. Between performances, the company also drew the annual grand prize, thoughtfully prepared for everyone.

With the annual gala performances now over, the next stop was a group night cruise along the Huangpu River. As they savored Shanghai’s unique culinary delights, the group also took in the river’s breathtaking scenery. And while everyone was focused on the journey ahead, don’t forget to look up at the starry sky!

2024 is sure to be another year of pressing forward under considerable pressure. Society must continue to advance, and technology must keep innovating—after all, innovation is the ladder that propels national progress. We hope that we will remain committed to exploration and continuous innovation, and collectively contribute our modest efforts to the development of the innovative pharmaceutical sector.

Hycells, together with all our team members, warmly wishes you an auspicious Year of the Dragon and success in all endeavors!
